If you're coming to events at Rowheath this Thursday, Friday or Saturday, do wear wellies as it's pretty soggy underfoot after the rain.
We've plenty of covered space for buggies and prams so you won't have to walk far. And Rowheath Pavilion have generously allowed BookFest-goers to use their lovely changing room loos, which are very close to the huge new Festival Marquee.
The big terrace room will be transformed into a temporary cafe, selling lots of toddler-friendly grab-and-go lunches, on both Friday and Saturday.
Our BookFest BookShop will be in the second marquee, on the terrace. There, you can buy books and get them signed by authors, which is a real BookFest treat (and we take cards and cash!). And bring an old book and exchange it for a new one at our Book Swap Stall. Every penny we make at the bookstall raises money for future BookFest events in our city.
Best of all are our free Festival Arts. Gather under Kate's Storytree for gentle tales and magic escapism. And join professional artists Lizzy Bean and Garry Jones for free arts and crafts on Saturday 16th from 9.30am.
Make a day of it at Bournville BookFest!
