Chief judge Luke Kennard - award-winning author, poet and critic, and senior lecturer in English and Creative Writing at University of Birmingham - said the winners showed huge talent:
"The winner of best poem ‘All About Books’ sums up exactly why this work is so important. I’m grateful to everyone who entered for the opportunity to read your work. You’re so talented it makes me jealous! I hope that all of you will keep writing and never stop believing in the power of your storytelling and expression."
Thank you to everyone who sent in their stories - we read every single one, during a hugely enjoyable judging session. And congratulations to all the winners, who will be receiving their handpicked prizes in the post shortly.
