Welcome to our Christmas Auction! We've gathered together some of the best artworks created by BookFest illustrators, and are auctioning them to raise funds for Bournville BookFest.

It's your chance to get your hands on original paintings for your home or for a present - and they're all sprinkled with memories of our live events The Big Draw, Shakespeare's Stories and BookFest.

Here are the rules:

  1. All bids need to be in by 12 noon Tuesday 14th December 2020.
  2. How to bid for a picture. All bids need to be made in writing, stating the picture you're bidding for and the amount you're willing to pay. Email this to [email protected] and acknowledged before being deemed viable. Any bids via Facebook or any other social media are invalid.
  3. The prizes are all unframed and come as they are.
  4. The minimum incremental bid is set at £1. That means if one person bids £25 for a picture, the next person must bid £26 or more.
  5. The highest qualifying bid wins the item.
  6. No additional bids may be placed once the auction is declared closed.
  7. We reserve the right to withdraw any item from sale, without notice.
  8. All prizes need to be collected in person from Bournville Hub between Tuesday 14th Dec and closing on December 22.
  9. Payments will be made by credit or debit card on collection at Bournville Hub.
  10. Any item unclaimed will become property of Bournville BookFest and may be resold at a later date. No Cash Alternative will be offered.
  11. All sales final: All sales are final, there are no exchanges.
  12. No refunds: No refunds after purchase. Guests are responsible for item(s) once they’re claimed.
